Professionally Managed Estate Sales
For families deciding whether to host a public sale of the contents. If you want a sale to shop, this page is not it.
With a managed sale, shoppers come through the house on the open days we schedule with you. We sort, research, price, and stage the contents, staff every open day, and handle each transaction. The family stays away the whole time if it prefers.
We run sales, and we also buy estates outright and run private auctions. So we tell you plainly when a sale is the right call and when it is not. Fine jewelry, good watches, and signed art do not belong on a folding table with a price sticker.
When this is a good fit
- Rooms full of furniture, kitchenware, tools, and decor a crowd will buy
- The property handles parking and a steady stream of shoppers
- You have weeks to spare before the house must be empty
When another path may suit better
- The house is listed, occupied, or on a street that will not tolerate a crowd
- The family wants the job finished privately
- Most of the value sits in a few pieces that belong at auction
What we do before the doors open
Preparation is most of the work.
- Pull jewelry, watches, coins, and papers out of the sale and into a separate plan
- Sort every room and research the pieces that deserve it
- Price and tag each item
- Stage the house so buyers move through it safely, with private rooms locked
- Agree with you, in writing, what happens to anything left at the end
What a sale asks of the house
A public sale puts strangers in the home. Parking, neighbors, an HOA, a listing already on the market, or a relative still living there all change the picture. We look at the property itself before we recommend a sale, and we tell you when a purchase or an auction fits better.
When a sale makes sense
A sale works when the estate holds a large volume of good everyday contents: furniture, kitchenware, tools, linens, books, and decor that a crowd will buy. It works when the property handles foot traffic and the calendar has room for setup, the open days, and the wrap-up. Even then, the finest pieces go to private auction or a direct offer.
Next steps
Ask for a walkthrough. We look at what the estate holds and at the house itself, then put a sale plan beside a purchase offer and an auction plan. You compare real options on paper instead of guessing, and there is no charge to see them.
Where estate sales fits the wider picture is something we cover in a coordinated estate review for households across Dallas–Fort Worth.
Common questions
No. It is for the family, executor, or trustee deciding whether to hire someone to run a sale of an estate’s contents. It explains how we run one and how it compares with a purchase or a private auction.
We agree on that before the sale opens and put it in writing. Leftovers go to a buyout offer, to donation, or to the final cleanout, whichever the family picks.
A sale reaches a crowd over several open days and takes setup, staffing, and strangers in the house. A direct purchase is one offer, one agreement, and only our crew on the property. We show you both before you choose.
