Serving Dallas and Nearby DFW
Across the city of Dallas, we walk the whole estate, rooms and lockbox and rented unit alike, pull out the pieces that matter, and put a purchase or a private auction in front of the family before anything is hauled.
A Dallas estate deserves a careful first look before anyone books a truck. We walk every room, the closets, the garage and the attic, and we open the drawers. The jewelry box on the dresser, the silver chest under the dining table and the paintings in the back bedroom get sorted out first.
Then we show you the routes. We buy the contents outright, we send standout pieces to private auction, or we split the estate between the two. With either route there is no public sale at the house, and the family makes the call.
What we look for in a Dallas estate
Most of what matters is small. A Rolex in a desk drawer. A strand of pearls in a coat pocket. A signed Texas painting hung in a hallway nobody uses. Sterling flatware still in its felt-lined chest. We find those before a single box is packed, and we price each one on its own merits instead of lumping it in with the room.
Tell us the hard parts on the first call
Stairs with no landing. A building where the freight lift has to be reserved. An alley gate too narrow for a truck. A sibling who wants three things held back. A closing date that will not move. We build the plan around all of it, and scope, exclusions and timing go in writing before anything leaves.
Why we look before anyone hauls
Here is why. A cleanout crew is paid to empty rooms, not to read hallmarks. Once a bag goes in the truck, the cufflinks in it are gone. We sort first, so the estate is paid for what it holds and the haul at the end carries only what has no buyer.
The last step: city collection for true leftovers
Once the good pieces are out, the estate still leaves broken chairs and worn mattresses. Dallas Sanitation runs a residential brush and bulky item collection. Its pages list what the service accepts and excludes, how material must be set out, and how to look up the arrangements for an address. Confirm the address is on city collection, and use it only for things with no buyer and no charity. A disposal rule says nothing about what an object is worth.

Common questions
No. Leave the tarnish on the silver and the dust on the frames. A well-meant polish or a glued repair lowers what a piece brings, so we want to see everything as it is.
Not at all. Most estates are everyday goods with a handful of standout pieces. We look at both and state in writing which items our offer covers and what happens to the rest.
Yes, put it first. Listing photos, showings and a closing date all go easier once the contents plan is settled, and we work around your realtor's calendar.
